My experience at VLS has greatly contributed to my success as a financial services specialist at Glendale USD in several ways:
First, being a VLS alumni has helped me to create great personal and business relationships,
coming from a well known firm, highly regarded for providing friendly quality service to its clients, I am usually associated with these qualities as well.
Secondly, high quality training obtained as a VLS auditor has prepared me to better understand the management aspects of the school business operations. I often assist other departments by providing my opinion as a former auditor in a variety of issues.
In addition, knowing the friendly work environment at VLS, based upon employee team building and mentoring between managers, supervisors and staff auditors has given me an edge as a member of the management team at GUSD. We are currently trying to replicate this type of work environment in our department.
In conclusion being a VLS alumni has opened the doors for my future.
