    Interim Chief Business Officer

    Chief Business Officer Recruitment
    When the need arises, we help schools select their Chief Business Officer. Candidates are often drawn from our extensive network of education contacts. We can manage the entire search process (job description and candidate criteria preparation, interviews and reference checking) or selected states of the search.

    Budgeting & Long Range Planning
    Districts and Boards find that long range plans result in more prudent decision making. We strengthen the planning process by assisting Districts in preparing budgets and long range forecasts and ensuring that reasonable assumptions are used.     We establish a project management system that tracks construction project expenditures and funds utilization. Wasteful or fraudulent spending and billing law violations are minimized or eliminated. Additionally, progress reports to the board are more timely and accurate.

    Outsourcing ASB Accounting
    By using our firm to outsource parts of their ASB accounting function, schools can reduce costs while improving internal accounting procedures. Some of the duties we perform include reviewing and developing controls for fund-raisers; preparing and submitting monthly financial statements; conducting individual and group training sessions on legal requirements and accounting procedures; and regularly visiting school sites and becoming part of the school accounting team.
