Wade N. McMullen was named Partner at Vicenti, Lloyd & Stutzman in 2003.

It was June 1984, in the midst of determining his educational path and professional career, that Wade’s parents decided to move the family to a home in a golf course neighborhood.  Wade had thought that he would pursue an engineering or math degree, where he could explore his fascination with principles and formulas.  But with a golf course in the backyard, he soon discovered that the difficulty and unpredictability of golf was something that really captured his attention.

“Golf is one of the few sports that does not use a standardized playing area," Wade says. "Rather, the game is played on golf 'courses.'  Each one of which has a unique design and presents its own set of problems to overcome.”

Through this newfound passion, he also met a number of CPAs on the “links” and they convinced him that similar challenges would also await him in the world of accounting.

As a Partner at Vicenti, Lloyd & Stutzman, Wade has over fifteen years of experience planning, directing, and supervising audits of not-for-profits, charter schools and private colleges and universities.  He also has extensive knowledge of A-133 audits, community colleges, college foundations, and K-12 school districts.  He also specializes in not-for-profit external controllerships and taxation services for tax exempt organizations, individuals, partnerships, and corporations.  Wade conducts internal control reviews and analyses, cash flow analyses, and cash management reviews and he investigates and reports on fraud related cases.  He assists with year-end closings and accounting related issues, and he assists and reviews financial projections and budgets.
