Renée S. Graves was named Partner at Vicenti, Lloyd & Stutzman in 1993.

It is probably safe to say that Renée has grown up at VLS.  She has experienced the following life events, all while employed at VLS: graduation from Cal Poly, Pomona (1986); marriage (1986); death of her father (1991); the birth of two children (1995 and 1998); and many ("too many!") birthdays.

She has also grown up professionally while at VLS; starting as an intern and eventually becoming a partner in 1993. At the beginning of her career at VLS, Renée did a little bit of everything. She worked on compilation, review, and consulting projects with clients that are now included in VLS' commercial business group; prepared many individual tax returns; and worked on audit engagements in the for-profit, education and non-profit areas.

As time went on, Renée found that she truly enjoyed working on audit engagements in the non-profit and education sector.  "I feel that I am best able to fulfill our mission - 'to make a positive difference in our world' - in this practice area of the firm.  To help a client identify additional resources or avoid costs to enable them to serve more of their 'customers' is very rewarding; both professionally and personally."

Today, Renée feels very fortunate to work in an organization that practices what it preaches. With daughters, ages 12 and 10, who are active in sports (softball, basketball, tennis, swimming and diving), active in school (student council, band and GATE) and active in community programs (raising funds for the Animal Shelter and St. Jude’s Hospital), life outside of work is very busy.
