Derrick DeBruyne was promoted to Senior Manager at Vicenti, Lloyd & Stutzman in 2011.

Derrick specializes in audits and consulting for not-for-profit organizations and charter schools. He also works with the fraud investigations team at VLS and has earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation.

"I enjoy a good challenge. Whether it be professionally or a personal hobby, I like to take on projects that I know little about so that I can learn and analyze new things. This is what attracted me to auditing in college and what has lead me toward working in fraud investigations. Each client and each project is different. Although many have similar characteristics, it's the differences that make it so interesting. Similarly, in my personal life I enjoy pushing the limits of my knowledge and abilities and challenging myself to new accomplishments."

"I also value family, community, education, and a strong work ethic. I spend much of my free time working on various projects around the house, volunteering in the music program and on the board at church, spending time with my family, and playing basketball."
