Community Action Responsibility Environment (CARE)

VLS is taking action and responsibility for our community & environment.

The purpose of VLS is "to make a positive difference in our world."

We do this by:

• Helping people – not just clients
• Being involved in the community
• Showing concern for society and the environment
• Providing and pursuing growth opportunities, new challenges and new services
• Helping people experience success
• Fulfilling needs
• Making our work matter

VLS does the following "green" activities to help our environment:

• Recycling paper, aluminium, plastic, old cell phones, E-waste, and batteries
• Installed timers to automatically shut off lights
• Carpooling to clients locations
• Reduce usage of plastic cups and bottles
• Provide employees with reuseable shopping bags
